You know what bothers me the most about religion? is the hypocrisy of it all.
My mom had some of her friends over to pray and sing and clap and the whole shebang. But then, after they finished, they started trash talking other religious institutions, stating that the catholic church is the only right one and whatnot. And after that, they went on talking about what that person and that person wear at church.
First of all, all religions are about money in some degree, otherwise there wouldn’t be such this as the tenth or whatever is called. Churches don’t pay taxes either, which is really unfair given thatthey make a lot of it (and don’t give me the “Churches do not operate to make a profit as does other charities” crap, I know better. I wonder how the priest from my mom’s church was able to afford his BMW…).
Secondly, what happened to “judging others is wrong and you’ll go to hell if you do it”? Oh wait, that happens every day, right homophobic-parents-that-will-kick-me-out-of-the-house-if-I-come-out? I thought that going to church and praise the sweet lord baby jesus was enough for these people, but apparently now there’s a very strict dress code for the occasion that goes with it and you’re kicked out of the little group if you don’t act accordingly.
You’re not better than the rest of us just because you go to church. You should practice what you preach, otherwise you’re just a cunt.
P.S.: My favorite line of the night: “Here’s the Holy Water, who wants to drink it?” (yeah, that happened).
